Returns, Exchanges and Warranty

At Tulle Dainty, we want you to love your jewelry. Please review our policy carefully before making a purchase.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Return Window

  • Returns: Within 7 days from the date of purchase or delivery (whichever is later)
  • Exchanges: Within 14 days from the date of purchase or delivery (whichever is later)
  • One-time exchange only: Each order is eligible for one exchange only

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return or exchange, ALL of the following conditions must be met:

  • Item must be in original, unworn, and unaltered condition
  • All original packaging, tags, and labels must be intact and attached
  • Item must show no signs of wear, damage, or modification
  • Proof of purchase (order number and receipt) must be provided
  • Item must be returned within the specified timeframe

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Earrings (due to hygiene and health regulations)
  • Sale or discounted items (marked as "Final Sale")
  • Items purchased with discount codes or during promotional sales (only full-priced items are eligible for return/exchange)
  • Items purchased during storewide sales events
  • Items without original packaging or tags
  • Items showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration
  • Gift cards
  • Clearance items

Accepted Return & Exchange Reasons

We accept returns and exchanges for the following reasons only:

  • Wrong item received (our shipping error)
  • Manufacturing defects (see Warranty Policy below)
  • Sizing or style preference (item must be unworn and within timeframe)

Note: We do not accept returns or exchanges based on:

  • Change of mind after wearing the item
  • Damage caused by improper use or care
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Items purchased from unauthorized retailers

HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Step 1: Contact Us Email us at support@tulledainty.com within the applicable timeframe with:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Photos of the item (front, back, and packaging)
  • Reason for return/exchange
  • Preferred exchange item (if applicable)

Step 2: Await Approval Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days and provide:

  • Approval or rejection notice
  • Return instructions (if approved)
  • Return address

Step 3: Ship Your Item

  • Pack the item securely in original packaging
  • Include a copy of your order confirmation
  • Ship via trackable courier service (highly recommended)
  • Retain your tracking number for your records

Important Shipping Notes:

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we sent the wrong item
  • We are not liable for items lost or damaged during return shipping
  • We strongly recommend using tracked and insured shipping
  • Items sent via regular mail without tracking are at customer's risk
  • Returns without valid order numbers will not be processed

REFUND POLICY

Processing Time

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • You will receive an email confirmation within 2-3 business days
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
  • Total processing time may take up to 60 business days depending on your payment provider and bank

Refund Amount

  • Full refund of purchase price (original shipping fees non-refundable)
  • Return shipping costs are deducted from refund unless item is defective or incorrect
  • Refunds do not include any customs, duties, or taxes paid

Refund Conditions

  • Refunds are only issued after item inspection and approval
  • Items that don't meet eligibility requirements will be returned to customer at their expense
  • No refunds on worn, damaged, or altered items
  • Promotional discounts cannot be reapplied to exchanges

EXCHANGE POLICY

Exchange Process

  • Each order qualifies for one exchange only
  • Exchanges are subject to product availability
  • Price differences must be paid before shipping replacement item
  • If exchanged item is less expensive, the difference will be issued as store credit only
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Customer pays shipping for exchange return; we cover shipping for replacement item

Out of Stock Items

If your preferred exchange item is unavailable:

  • We will offer an alternative product of equal or greater value
  • You may choose a refund instead (processed per refund policy)
  • We will hold your original item for 7 days while you decide

WARRANTY POLICY

Coverage Period

All Tulle Dainty jewelry purchases include a complimentary 1-month (30-day) limited warranty from the date of purchase covering manufacturing defects only.

What's Covered

Our warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship, including:

  • Faulty clasps or closures
  • Loose or missing stones (cubic zirconia)
  • Broken chains or links due to manufacturing defect
  • Plating defects (peeling, flaking, or discoloration from normal wear)
  • Structural defects in the jewelry piece

What's NOT Covered

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, or accidents
  • Tarnishing or oxidation (this is natural and preventable with proper care)
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Scratches or dents from everyday use
  • Damage from improper cleaning or storage
  • Damage from exposure to chemicals, perfumes, lotions, or water
  • Modifications or repairs by unauthorized parties
  • Items purchased from unauthorized sellers

Filing a Warranty Claim

Within 7 days of purchase/delivery: Contact us immediately at support@tulledainty.com with:

  • Order number and proof of purchase
  • Clear photos showing the defect
  • Description of the issue

After 7 days but within 30 days: Same process as above. We will assess the claim and determine if it's a manufacturing defect or normal wear.

Warranty Resolution

If your warranty claim is approved, we will (at our discretion):

  • Repair the item at no charge
  • Replace the item with an identical or comparable piece
  • Issue a refund or store credit

Important Notes:

  • Customer must ship the item back to us for inspection (at customer's cost unless defect is confirmed within 7 days)
  • Warranty service may take 2-4 weeks
  • Warranty is non-transferable and valid only for original purchaser
  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims

GENERAL TERMS

Inspection Rights

Tulle Dainty reserves the right to:

  • Inspect all returned items before processing refunds or exchanges
  • Reject returns/exchanges that don't meet policy requirements
  • Charge a restocking fee for items returned in unacceptable condition
  • Refuse service to customers who abuse our return policy

Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Fraudulent Returns

We monitor return patterns and reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges from customers who:

  • Make excessive returns
  • Return items that show signs of wear
  • Provide false information
  • Abuse the return policy
